Our Founder
Manzini Mlauzi.
Manzini studied with the Faculty of Actuaries and the Actuarial Society of South Africa specializing in Finance and Enterprise Risk Management. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics and Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Actuarial Science).
From 1998 to 2000, he worked in the Employee Benefits departments of Old Mutual and Alexander Forbes doing pension fund valuations and reviews.
He later moved to the Investment Product Development area as an Actuarial Specialist researching and developing investment products and portfolios. He joined Postbank in 2008 as a Senior Manager for Product Development, later moving into risk management where he started and headed the Asset and Liability Management Department. When he left formal employment in February 2017, he was the Acting Chief Risk Officer for Postbank.
He founded
Still Waters of Africa (Pty) Ltd (Still Waters) in 2013, specializing in Financial Modelling, Pricing of Investment / Banking products, Enterprise Risk Management, Treasury and Financial Risk Management. His biggest achievement with Still Waters was his role on getting a provisional licence for YWBN Mutual Bank where he was the leading consultant in Financial Modelling, drafting of policies, products structuring as well as presenting to South African Reserve Bank’s Prudential Authority and attending to queries associated with the application process.
